Marlene

Marlene McKenzie graduated from Birmingham Theatre School in 2004. Since graduating Marlene’s performance highlights include: Witch in ‘The Witches’ (Birmingham Rep Theatre); Kate in ‘Big School’ (Coventry Belgrade Theatre); Ayesha in ‘For the Love of Auset’ (The Drum), Amy Tailor in ‘Journey’s’ and Miranda, ‘In All Good Things’(The Play House/Language Alive). Marlene has also worked as a Stage Manager on productions for ‘Homing Instincts’ (The Other Way Works) and for (Open stage Productions).

Apart from working as an actress, Marlene loves working with children and young people and uses her Drama skills, and experiences to give back to the community. By empowering and inspiring young people, to believe in their talents and to aim high in whatever they do.
 
Marlene is currently the Artistic director of Moo Ville Theatre and is working on the first production, of LITE, which is a one woman show, which will be touring in 2012.
